Mike Kmack

Mike picked up a range of skills during more than 20 years of covering news for broadcast outlets across northern New England. He’s been a field reporter, a videographer, a radio programmer, a social media editor, and a television newscast producer. Those experiences, combined with a love of literature, taught him how words and pictures enhance each other to tell a compelling story. He’s been putting those skills to work at the University of Southern Maine since September 2021.
