Dr. Provost has served as the staff coordinator of undergraduate nursing education at the University of Southern Maine School of Nursing since 2017 and teaches in the undergraduate Honors minor. Dr. Provost also serves as Director of the Lewiston-Auburn Campus. Originally from Maine, Dr. Provost spent a decade in Indiana where she earned her Master’s and Doctorate in Philosophy from Purdue University and later served as faculty in philosophy and Director of the Honors program at Indiana University Kokomo. Dr. Provost’s teaching interests include biomedical ethics, applied ethics, philosophy of technology, phenomenology, and Eastern philosophy. She is dedicated to anti-racism, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in higher education and actively incorporates these into her teaching and administrative roles.
