Paula Ward is our Administrative Specialist and has been with USM since 1984. Specialist Ward has almost 50 years of experience working in public safety and is credited as being the first female firefighter for the town of Gorham where she would make it to the rank of Lieutenant. When not at work, Specialist Ward enjoys knitting, puzzles, antiques and collecting early production period Sebastian miniature figurines. When not in Maine, Specialist Ward enjoys shopping in her favorite place, Barrington, New Hampshire. Although not a fan of eggplant pizza, Specialist Ward would, if possible, enjoy the opportunity to sip coffee alongside her idol, song and dance legend, James Cagney.
