Phyllis is a licensed clinical counselor with over 20 years of experience-primarily
working with college students of all backgrounds. Her approach is person centered,
compassion based, and solution oriented. She creates a safe, judgement-free space in
which to explore life’s challenges. She understands the stress of navigating academics
and balancing other life roles while also recognizing how social, economic, cultural and
familial influences profoundly shape our perceptions and experience. As a counselor,
Phyllis meets you where you are at and helps you explore blocks and uncover strengths
in order for you to move forward into your best, most authentic and meaning-filled life.
Phyllis enjoys being out in nature in (almost) any weather, traveling near and far,
exploring creative & artistic pursuits, reading, and sharing time with family, friends, and
pets.
