Rachel Gallo provides leadership and strategic direction within the Population Health and Health Policy (PHHP) Program Area at the Catherine Cutler Institute, supporting work in health services and population health research. She has expertise in program evaluation, applied research, and continuous quality improvement. Her work focuses on designing and implementing evaluation strategies that help organizations understand impact, improve effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
She enjoys collaborating with academic, community, and government partners to collect, analyze, and integrate quantitative and qualitative data to tell the story of programs and initiatives and explain their outcomes.
As a founding member of the Catherine Cutler Institute’s Data Innovation Project, she partners with organizations to strengthen their capacity to use data to define their work, achieve results, and demonstrate impact in Maine and beyond.
