Stephanie Heinz

Stephanie Heinz joined the University of Southern Maine’s University Store in June 2025. She grew up outside of Philadelphia and after a brief stint in New York City moved to Portland in 2016. Before starting at USM she worked in bookselling for 7 years, specializing in inclusive children’s books, community coordination, and book fairs.

When not dreaming up store displays and new merchandise, they enjoy getting their hands messy through artistic, culinary, and nature expeditions. They can often be found seeking out the yummiest snacks in Portland, typically in the company of their partner and their dog, Pepper.
