- Bachelor of Arts, International Relations, St. Norbert College
Stephanie Nicoson, Policy Associate II, joined the Catherine Cutler Institute in the spring of 2023 in the Children, Youth, and Families area. Her work focuses on child welfare, specifically revising child welfare policies and participating in research and evaluation on child welfare projects. Stephanie brings to this work her skills in professional writing, partnership facilitation, and research, grounded in an empathic, anti-racism approach. She approaches this life-long journey through continued listening, learning, and action.
Prior to joining the Catherine Cutler Institute, with United Way of Southern Maine, Stephanie engaged with the community around early childhood development and built her knowledge of collective impact. She also brings experience as an AmeriCorps member.
When not at work, you will likely find Stephanie with her dog curled up reading a book, traversing a trail, or lying beneath a tree’s canopy.
