Teresa (Terri) Plummer

Terri has been with TRIO Programs at USM since 2012, starting first as an Administrative Specialist. While in this position, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English from USM and became an Advisor with TRIO Student Support Services in the summer of 2016. Prior to coming to USM, Terri ran her own secretarial business, managed a small community theater, and home-schooled her four sons. As a first-generation, non-traditional college student, Terri understands the unique challenges of TRIO students and adult learners and is committed to helping students succeed in higher education. As a USM alumna, the mother of four USM alumni, and the USM graduate student representative to the UMS Board of Trustees, she is committed to the USM community and its students.
