Mr. Croll participates on project teams for the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program, Maine’s annual Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Survey, the Annual Survey of Children Served by MaineCare, and other funded research and evaluation projects. He has contributed to numerous studies examining rural health clinics, hospital community benefit and population health improvement activities, behavioral health and substance use services, rural long-term services and supports, health insurance coverage, and the experience of care and health status of children enrolled in MaineCare.

He has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis; data management activities including the construction, cleaning, and management of analytic data files; literature and policy review; and the implementation and management of research and evaluation activities.
