Our school psychology curriculum places a unique emphasis on applied behavior analysis. Our department offers a sequence of eight courses verified by the Association of Behavior Analysis (ABAI) to meet the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) examination. Four of these courses are embedded with the school psychology program curriculum, and school psychology students may opt to complete the additional four courses and pursue independent supervised fieldwork to apply for credentialing in behavior analysis.
Students in our master’s-level school psychology program have the option to enroll concurrently in the Certificate of Graduate Study in Applied Behavior Analysis program if they wish to pursue additional training in behavior analysis. Information about this program is available here.
Students in our doctoral-level school psychology program have the option to earn the MS in Educational Psychology-Applied Behavior Concentration along the way to their PsyD degree if they wish to pursue additional training in behavior analysis. Information about this program is available here.
