Simplify your giving.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that offers flexibility, potential tax benefits, and streamlined administration. The DAF account is offered by a sponsoring organization (often a community foundation) that will accept your gifts of cash, stocks, or other assets, and then makes charitable donations according to your directions. Your receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to the University over time.

Potential benefits of a DAF include:

  • Immediate tax deduction
  • Tax-free investment growth
  • Flexible and simplified giving
  • Support for a diverse range of assets
  • Privacy options
  • Family legacy planning
