The Muskie School of Public Service proudly celebrated the successful graduation of yet another cohort of accomplished students from its undergraduate and graduate programs in Public Health, Policy, Planning & Management; Public Policy; Geography-Anthropology and Tourism & Hospitality. This year over 110 graduates have earned degrees and certificates from five distinct programs, reflecting the diverse academic pursuits and achievements within our community. On Friday, May 3, graduates, faculty and staff gathered for a memorable Graduation and Awards Celebration, where graduates were joined by their friends and family to commemorate their academic journey and accomplishments. The event served as a platform to showcase the remarkable work of our students, highlighting their contributions to the field of public service and their dedication to addressing societal challenges. Additionally, we took the opportunity to honor the outstanding achievements of our students by recognizing the best student from each program and presenting awards for the best capstone projects, reaffirming our commitment to excellence in education and service to the community.
The graduation ceremony not only signifies the culmination of years of hard work and dedication but also marks the beginning of a new chapter for our graduates as they embark on their professional journeys. As they step into the world equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values instilled by their time at the Muskie School, we are confident in their ability to make meaningful contributions to their respective fields and communities. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates for their remarkable achievements and express our gratitude to the faculty, staff, and supporters who have guided and supported them along the way. As we bid farewell to this cohort, we look forward to witnessing the positive impact they will undoubtedly make as they continue to embody the spirit of public service championed by the Muskie School of Public Service.
