Kudos belong to Larissa Malone, an assistant professor in the Teacher Education Department. She has received a National Education Association (NEA) Foundation Envision Equity grant for $5,000 for Maine Black Educators Collective (MBEC) 2022 Programming. MBEC also had a special event that was sponsored by an IDEC mini-grant. Additionally, she gave a talk in February on Race and Education at Falmouth High School.
