Congratulations to Nadine Bravo, who has been named as the recipient of the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL) scholarship for 2022. NECTFL awarded Nadine $1,000 to help with expenses during student teaching. Additionally, Nadine will be provided with a complimentary registration and hotel lodging for the upcoming NECTFL in New York City, where Nadine will be recognized at the general session on Friday morning. Nadine, a USM graduate student, is working on her Masters of Science in Teacher Education and plans to be a World Language teacher.
Additionally, Nadine is earning a Certificate of Graduate Study in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and is employed as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Literacy, Language, and Culture.
