Additional requirements for applicants with an international college transcript
- Submit an official evaluation of university-level transcripts from a professional credential evaluation service with either a NACES or AICE membership. We recommend the following organizations:
- The Evaluation Company (TEC) (formerly SpanTran)
- World Education Services (WES)
- Josef Silny & Associates, Inc., International Education Consultants: Foreign educational credential evaluation application for prospective USM students (PDF file)
- Evaluations must be course-by-course and provide verification that the degree you hold is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in the United States
- NOTE: Some universities in Canada are exempt
