STEP 1: Schedule your ACS Appointment
Complete this step as soon as you can. Courses fill up quickly and we want to ensure you get the courses you want. Your Advising & Course Selection (ACS) Appointment is 60 minutes with an academic advisor to choose your courses. You can meet in person or virtually.
STEP 2: Complete the ALEKS Math Placement
IMPORTANT NOTE: This must be completed before attending your ACS appointment.
The ALEKS Math Placement Test helps your advisor know which math course is appropriate for you. You can attempt the math placement multiple times.
STEP 3: Review the Husky Pack Preview in Brightspace
The Husky Pack Preview includes information about critical next steps and campus resources to help you prepare for your first semester of college at USM. Everything from where to find your bill to how to upload your immunization records can be found here! We encourage you to check it out before your ACS appointment so you are prepared.
STEP 4: Register for Orientation | deadline August 14th
Orientation registration is live! This is your chance to connect with fellow Huskies and prepare for success at USM. Learn about the Orientation programs offered and which sessions are required for all new students. Be sure to register for the required sessions by the deadline.
