So you want to take classes through the GPACU program…

The process of enrolling in a GPACU class depends on whether you are a student at the University of Southern Maine or a student at another institution within GPACU.

Click below to find out your next steps!

To enroll in a GPACU class, University of Southern Maine students must:

  • Be in good academic standing.
  • Participate only after completion of their first semester of college (at our university or elsewhere).
  • Request a course that is not offered at the University of Southern Maine.

After connecting with your advisor about GPACU, please complete both

You can turn your completed forms in to the Office of Registration and Scheduling Services at RegisterUSM@Maine.edu.

Our office will submit the appropriate paperwork to our GPACU partner on your behalf.

Registration is subject to the availability, requirements, and policies of the host institution.

To enroll in a GPACU class at our University, students at other GPACU institutions must:

  • Meet the definition of ‘matriculated student’ as defined by the student’s home college/university.
  • Follow the GPACU procedures for cross-registration and complete their home institution’s GPACU form(s).
  • Meet any course prerequisites set by the University of Southern Maine.

Make sure to connect with your registrar’s office at your home institution. Your registrar will submit the appropriate paperwork to our University once your school approves your GPACU request. Additional approval may be required.
