Dean John W. Bay Scholarship

In 2003, this scholarship was established in recognition of beloved colleague John Bay who retired from the School of Business after 38 years of dedicated service. John and Anne Bay have continued to fund this scholarship which recognizes students who exhibit leadership potential through high quality participation, on a volunteer basis, in University, School of Business, and/or community organizations.

Eligibility

Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or better required; Enrolled in a minimum of 6 USM credits when funds are received; Will graduate no sooner than December of the academic year funds are received; Exhibits leadership through volunteerism in University, School of Business, and/or community organizations; Scholarship application and essay required; Essay topic: Describe how you have demonstrated leadership ability through current and past volunteerism in University, School and/or community organizations.
