The Outdoor Adventure Board’s (OAB) mission is to enrich the University of Southern Maine collegiate experience with the availability of unique and affordable recreational opportunities. OAB provides opportunities for community engagement and while teaching outdoor skill sets to a diverse group of recreational enthusiasts. OAB builds connections between peers, community, and the outdoors in the effort to develop and positively influence interpersonal and intrapersonal growth.
Wondering how you can join? There are a couple of ways to be involved with OAB!
- You can be a participant. This comes with no commitment and you can sign up for any trips you’d like. You can find information about our trips and find the sign up forms on our socials, the Campus Groups app, or through our email list.
- You can be a trip leader. This does come with weekly responsibilities, and is a great option if you are interested in helping plan the trips we run. This position can be through work study funds or volunteering. If this interests you, email oab.usm@maine.edu for more information!
