The Southern Maine Partnership (SMP) is a collaborative network connecting PreK-12 school districts with the Educational Leadership Program at the University of Southern Maine. 

Through various programs and offerings, the SMP:

Promotes Education: Supports equitable, academically rigorous, and personalized public education for students. 

Connects Practice and Theory: Acts as a bridge between university faculty and local school practitioners, ensuring leadership training responds to real-world needs. 

Provides Professional Growth: Collaborates with USM’s Professional Development Center to offer workshops, learning conferences, and outreach for educators.
