Overview

US:IT Networkmaine Telecommunications, located in Payson Smith Hall on the Portland campus, provides a variety of telephone services to all residence hall students, staff and faculty. Networkmaine Telecommunications does not have office hours.

To report telephone troubles, or new services, please go to www.umaine.edu/it. Once the page opens, click on the blue box, on the right, which reads "Report a Problem". Select the proper link for the form you want, complete and submit.  If you do not have internet access, please call UTSC at 4029 and they will create a ticket and submit it to Networkmaine Telecommunications. After hours, please leave your name and phone number, issue location (building, room number, phone, and jack number) and a brief description of the problem.

If requesting department long distance authorization codes,  please complete the relevant form. All forms are listed on our form page.


 

 

Work Orders (RT)

Log in to UTSC (University Technology Service Center) Request Tracker (RT) for all work orders including, but not limited to, moving/installing phone and computer lines, installing new jacks (phone and/or data), ordering headsets, adding voice mail, making changes to menus, ordering handset/base cards and upgrading phones.

Once you have logged into RT, please make sure to include your chartfield combination and a detailed request for services in the "Describe the issue below" box.
