Stay safe:

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid exposure to COVID-19 and to get vaccinated.

Wash your hands. And wash them often. With soap and water for at least 20 seconds. You should do this after being in public places; after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Especially before cooking or eating food.  Before touching your face. After using a restroom. After leaving a public place. After touching your mask.

Avoid close contact. This means inside and outside of your dorm room or home. If someone is sick, try to maintain at least six feet. Outside of your home, do the same: try to maintain at least six feet. People can be superspreaders without any symptoms.

Wear a mask.  Cover your nose and mouth (both of them!) with a face covering when around others. Even if you don't feel sick, you could spread the virus. The mask protects others. Even with a mask, keep six feet between yourself and others.

Clean and disinfect. You want to clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboard, toilets, faucets and sinks.  First clean with soap and water or detergent; then disinfect with an EPA-registered household disinfectant.

Monitor your health daily.  Be alert for symptoms. Watch of fever, cough, shortness of breath or other symptoms of COVID-19.  Take your temperature if symptoms develop. Follow CDC guidance on what to do if you're sick.
