Come watch USM soccer players kick off a friendly competition against players from Hearts of Pine at Husky Fest! Then join in on the fun yourself — score a goal for a chance to be entered into a raffle to win tickets to a 2027 Hearts of Pine game next spring.

Hearts x Huskies – join the spirit
Look out for exciting Hearts x Huskies collaborations across campus. Here are just a few things to look forward to this academic year at USM:
- Win your seat in Section 101: USM will give away more than 270 tickets to students throughout the academic year to a Hearts of Pine match kicking off the 2027 season next spring. We’ll be taking over Section 101 for a match, so keep an eye out for giveaways and your chance to join us at the game!
- Gear up with Hearts of Pine merch: Show your USM ID at the Hearts of Pine store to receive 10% off your purchase. And keep an eye out for Hearts of Pine merchandise coming to the USM Store, too!

A partnership with purpose
From the classroom to the pitch, USM and Hearts of Pine are creating opportunities for students to experience the many ways a professional sports organization can connect with a community.
That includes internships, part-time employment, and hands-on opportunities that allow USM students to gain real-world experience beyond the classroom. For Hearts of Pine, the partnership brings the creativity, talent, and perspective of the next generation of Maine professionals into the club.

As part of their welcome to USM, this year’s new cohort of USM Promise Scholars joined Hearts of Pine for a home match, met club leadership, and experienced the energy that professional soccer has brought to Maine.
The Promise Scholarship program is unique to USM, helping Maine students take their next step toward a college education. Promise Scholars bring something special with them: heart, ambition, and a commitment to making a difference in their communities.
