Program Highlights

  • Develop the analytical and practical skills necessary for creating social change at the interpersonal, institutional, and systemic levels.
  • Advance your career in a wide range of sectors including government agencies, higher education, consulting firms, research institutes, corporations, and non-profits.
  • Build capacity in cross-cultural communication, empathy and sensitivity, anti-racist practice, and civic engagement.
  • Explore urgent national and global issues such as criminal justice reform, economic access, urban violence and policing, and the intersecting histories of oppression and resistance.

Program requirements

Along with studying the theoretical foundations of social justice, you’ll explore patterns of injustice and resistance, and build skills in analytics methods. The program concludes with a capstone and possible internship with a regional organization.
