Join the Commuter Student Association for a Hearts of Pine soccer match. Cheer on Portland’s own soccer club alongside friends and fellow students, with a great view of the action from the standing section behind the goal.
Tag along with USM’s Office of Student Engagement and Belonging (SEAB) for this fall outdoor adventure! Join the Spooky Bike Ride at 4 p.m., then stick around for food and an outdoor Maine Outdoor Film Festival screening starting at 6:30 p.m. Bring warm clothes, a blanket, and your own camp chair if you have one.
Join SEAB for a night of Halloween carnival games, prizes, and candy! Awards will be given for the best costumes, so dress to impress.

Apple Picking at Randall Orchards
Open daily through mid-November | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pick your own apples at this working orchard, then check out the working cider mill and stock up on pumpkins, gourds, and squash.

Hurricane Meadows Fall Festival
Sept. 11 through Nov. 1 | Friday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Celebrate fall with a Hearts of Pine-themed corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkins, sunflower fields, farm animals, and plenty of delicious food. Perfect for a full day of autumn fun.

Farm-to-Table Yoga
Oct. 24 | 11 a.m. to 12:15 a.m.
Unwind with a 45-minute outdoor yoga flow followed by a seasonal, farm-fresh meal at this family-owned orchard. A perfect way to connect with nature and community.

New England is one of just a few places on Earth where you get this kind of dramatic red and orange foliage? Most of the world’s forests turn yellow come autumn. The vivid reds we see here come from a rare combination of maple-heavy forests and the perfect climate, a mix that’s really only found in New England and a few parts of East Asia.
