Since 2001, the New England Environmental Finance Center has worked throughout New England and the nation to build local capacity to pay for the growing cost of protecting critical environmental resources and fostering resilient communities. NEEFC’s programs reflect the needs of vulnerable and underserved communities and tribes, including: the funding and financing of climate adaptation and resilience; stormwater and watershed management; drinking water infrastructure, wastewater infrastructure, and green infrastructure; and sustainable operating practices for small food and beverage businesses.
