Starting in 2027, students will be Required to graduate from a CAAHEP Accredited Exercise Science program to be eligible for advanced ACSM national certifications in Exercise Science.

Course of Study
You’ll be in a flexible, broad-based program that combines major courses with a number of electives. Classes emphasize current research as well as its practical application. Core courses in exercise science are combined with classes in other disciplines such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and general sciences, Social sciences, and Applied sciences.
Internships in Exercise Science
Internships in Exercise Science include cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy offices, personal training faculties, strength and conditioning experiences, local schools, and camps. Students get hands-on experience with experienced site supervisors for their future jobs or graduate programs.
