Campus Safety Officer (CSO), Shaun Rowe, started with USM PD in the fall of 2023.CSO Rowe is a Sanford resident who has been employed with the Sanford School department as both an Ed Tech and Custodian for the past 5 years.CSO Rowe has experience working in security and spent the majority of his 20’s in related fields. CSO Rowe is a Track and Field coach as well as a 2001 graduate of the Maine Correctional Academy. CSO Rowe is very comfortable with students and is most satisfied when helping others. He has training in behavioral and mental health and is certified in CPR and first aid. When Not at work CSO Rowe enjoys spending time in Myrtle Beach and collecting vintage trading cards. If given the opportunity, CSO Rowe would love to sip a cold Pepsi Zero alongside minister, civil rights leader and activist, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. CSO Rowe owns a classic Mustang and loves to freestyle dance in hip hop dance offs.
