Andrea Sulzer earned her Master of Fine Arts in 2004 from the Glasgow School of Art with a concentration in drawing. Before focusing her attention completely on art, she studied and worked in both languages and biological sciences. She has taught at the University of Maine, Augusta, and Maine College of Art, and has been a visiting artist at Bowdoin College and Western Connecticut State University. Her work has been exhibited extensively, including a solo show at the Portland Museum of Art (summer, 2014), as well as USM’s Area Gallery in Portland (2012).
