Christopher Mitchell

Patrol Officer Chris Mitchell joined our team in 2022. Officer Mitchell brings with him over 7 years of law enforcement experience. In addition to working here at USM, Officer Mitchell is employed as a Staff Sergeant with the Maine Army National Guard. A graduate of Dean College in Massachusetts, Officer Mitchell, when not at work, enjoys hiking, camping and carpentry. A lover of animals, Officer Mitchell is a dog owner who used to work for the ASPCA rescuing abused animals. Officer Mitchell loves sports and, in his younger days, was a referee for Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby.
