Research Interests
Macroeconomics, income inequality, political economy.
Mike received his doctoral degree in Economics from American University in 2018 and taught at Ithaca College for two years before coming to USM. His research focuses on the causes and economic effects of rising income inequality. In the classroom, he aims to teach students how they can apply the tools of economics to better understand everything from current policy debates and historical events to the decisions they make in their own lives.
