Dear USM Class of 2026 Member,

Soon you will have a degree in your hand from the University of Southern Maine – a major milestone! Congratulations on all your hard work getting to this point.

We at the USM Alumni Association are excited to welcome you to a network of more than 65,000 Huskies from all walks of life in Maine and beyond. While your time as a student might be wrapping up, we hope you’ll continue to stay connected to our alma mater for years to come.

To help you stay up to date on all things USM and our alumni community, we’ll be sending you regular alumni emails with all the latest news, events, volunteer opportunities, and more from your alma mater.

Please remember to keep your contact information with us current. We have an easy online form where you can inform us of any changes, including your preferred email address, once your USM email address is discontinued. You can manage your subscriptions with us through the link in the footer of our emails.

We also love hearing from you! If you have any news or accomplishments you would like to share, let us know; we publish accomplishments regularly in our Alumni Newsletter.

I encourage you to take advantage of being a proud member of the USM alumni community, just like I am. As I’ve navigated my life and my career after graduation, I’ve found that USM alums are a diverse and driven group of people who use our shared Husky background to shape the future of our region across countless fields and industries. And we help one another. Check out our Alumni Resources & Benefits here.

As you finish those final papers, you may also be thinking “what’s next”. If you are looking for help navigating the workforce, the folks at the USM Career Hub are there to help you on your professional journey.

There are lots of ways to stay connected, get involved, and give back to USM. So please feel free to drop me a line anytime if you have any questions or ideas.

Thanks for all you do and Go Huskies!
