The Honors Leadership Development Scholarship (HLDS) is a competitive scholarship for USM Honors Students. Scholarship recipients receive $2000 per year (renewable up to 4 years) and are required to engage in 25 hours of community engagement per semester. This community work is intended to encourage students to develop their leadership and interpersonal skills.
Scholarship eligibility requirements include:
- Honors Minor
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Minimum enrollment of 6 credits per semester
