The 2nd year of University of Southern Maine CubeSat Design Competition (UCDC22) was a great success.

MIST is proud to continue supporting the 2022 UCDC. This year’s provided CubeSat chassis developed by MIST team members Bravo, Dan, Caleb, and Drew. It was wonderful to see Maine’s young students make their own functioning unit capable of reaching up to 105,000 ft in the air for measuring scientific data.

These students will be our backbone for future development of Maine’s spaceport. The UCCD has been supported by NASA, Maine Space Grant Consortium, USM’s CSTH, USM’s Maker Innovation Studio, and the Michael E. Dubyak Center for Digital Science and Innovation.
