This academic year, the University began offering preferred carpool parking spaces in prime locations for students, staff or faculty sharing a vehicle. The effort, spearheaded by the Office of Sustainability, aims to cut down on the number of single occupancy vehicles driving to campus in order to save carbon and teach the University community about the money they can save by sharing rides.
