The Association of Leadership Educators (ALE) recently celebrated the outstanding contributions of leadership educators through their 2024 Annual Awards. These esteemed awards recognize excellence in leadership education across various categories, such as teaching, scholarship, diversity, equity, inclusion, and service.
Two of University of Southern Maine’s own Leadership Studies faculty, I. Dami Alegbeleye, PhD and Dan Jenkins, PhD, received the Outstanding Program award for the Graduate Certificate Program in Professional Leadership Education. This program earned special recognition for its innovative approach to cultivating future leadership professionals, and was praised for its emphasis on both theoretical and practical knowledge, ensuring graduates are well-equipped to inspire and lead within diverse organizations.
