The Office of Public Affairs is the communication hub for the University of Southern Maine. Its staff shares information across a range of outlets through stories, images, and video. They supplement their efforts by facilitating the ability of outside media organizations to report on issues, events, and achievements involving USM.
By sharing that information, the Public Affairs team seeks to foster greater awareness and engagement throughout the USM community, both on campus and beyond. That goal is advanced by developing working relationships with reporters and other media representatives, community and corporate partners, legislators, and more.
