Flexible Online Program Formats

Our online offerings range from Online Asynchronous programs that can be completed from anywhere, any time each week — to Online Synchronous programs streamed in real-time to you and your classmates, to Blended programs that offer a mix of online and on-campus courses. Whatever format you choose, you’ll study with renowned faculty, connect with your fellow students, and receive superior academic and career support.

Enrollment Support for Online Programs

Find the online program that's right for you with help from an Admissions Counselor. We understand that coming back to school to finish a degree can be stressful and confusing. One of our friendly and welcoming counselors will assist you throughout the inquiry, application, and admission process to offer you a personalized admissions experience. We will connect with you based on your communication preference, be it video chat, email, phone, or text.

Reduced E-tuition for Out-of-State Students

Our Online Asynchronous programs — which allow you to complete coursework online at any time each week — offer a competitive e-tuition rate that is greatly reduced from the standard out-of-state tuition rate. In-state students benefit from the lower in-state tuition rate, which applies to all programs.

Meet Our Accomplished Faculty

Connect with dedicated professors who are highly accomplished in their fields and actively engaged in our communities. Our online programs meet the same rigorous standards as our traditional, on-campus programs and are taught by the same great USM faculty. As teachers, mentors, and advisors, they will work with you — and challenge you — to achieve your academic potential.
