New parking system
Starting in May 2024, we're migrating our parking payment and permitting services from HonkMobile to ParkEngage. On May 20, new walk-up paystations will be available in high-traffic areas. Permit purchases will remain in HONK until June 20. Get the details.
The Department of Parking Services is responsible for managing parking facilities and services at the University of Southern Maine. Our department aims to provide efficient and convenient parking options for students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the campus. We oversee the implementation of parking policies, issue permits, and enforce parking regulations to ensure the orderly and safe use of parking spaces. With a focus on enhancing the parking experience, we are continuously exploring innovative solutions such as digital permits and advanced technologies like License Plate Recognition (LPR) for more streamlined parking operations. Our goal is to provide a positive parking experience for the university community while promoting accessibility, sustainability, and efficient use of parking resources and space.
