The one-acre gently sloping green lawn will replace the existing Bedford Street surface parking lot, transforming this from a passive space to an active meeting place for the entire University community.
Spanning a portion of Bedford Street, the Quad will be bordered by the new Portland Commons Residence Hall, the new McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success, and the existing Masterton Hall.
