Service-Learning & Volunteering

Alternative Spring Break

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a student group that participates in a one-week, substance-free, service trip during Spring Break in March. Students serve with local organizations in the community to which they travel, meeting community needs and learning about the culture of the area and the people and organizations they serve. There's always time for some fun and sight-seeing as well!  Students are responsible for a $25 fee and engaging in group fundraising activities throughout the year to cover the cost of the trip.

We currently do not have a service trip planned for 2016-2017. If you have any questions, please contact Samantha Elliott at samantha.elliott@maine.edu.
