Program Highlights

  • Tailor the major to your interests and career goals: Choose to concentrate on Hospitality Management or Sustainable Tourism Innovation & Development.
  • Gain real-world experience through internships, capstone projects, international travel abroad, and community projects with industry partners.
  • Prepare for a wide range of careers in areas such as travel and tour agencies, event companies, hotels, restaurants, or marketing and travel management organizations.
  • Learn from internationally recognized faculty with extensive experience in hospitality and sustainable tourism management.
  • Build community and grow professionally through engaging opportunities as a member of the Tourism and Hospitality Student Group.
  • Qualify to earn either the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) or become a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA).

Program requirements

Our program is an interdisciplinary degree designed to prepare future leaders within tourism and hospitality. Students choose from either the Sustainable Tourism Innovation and Development concentration or the Hospitality Management concentration.
