– Active Shooter– Bomb Threat
– Weapon on Campus– Fire/Explosion
– Aggression/Physical Assault– Imminent Suicidal Behavior
– Threat of Violence– Abuse/Neglect of a minor (required to report by Maine law)

Other Serious Situations

Situations that may not require immediate action to preserve life or property. These situations do require swift action by the University, a continuity of care, and may involve emergency responders at some point. If in doubt, call USM Public Safety; if on the Lewiston Campus, call Lewiston PD and the Dean’s Office.
