We celebrate all of the Department of Theatre and Osher School of Music Musical Theatre students who graduated this month!

Top Row, L-R:

Sophie Urey (Theatre)
Pictured performing in this spring’s The War of the Worlds, Sophie also performed in She Kills Monsters in 2021 and focused her studies in playwriting and dramaturgy. She most recently served as dramaturg for Mad Horse Theatre Company’s Tumacho.

Sage Bartlett (Theatre)
Sage officially wrapped up in December ’23 and joined their classmates in walking in this month’s graduation. They are already using their talents for set design, prop construction, and puppet-making as a Theatre Production Associate at the Children’s Museum and Theatre of Maine.

Belle Giguere (Musical Theatre)
Belle graced the Russell Hall stage with enthusiasm and skill as USG Ensemble and swing in Urinetown, and as Olivia Keating & ensemble in The Prom.

Middle Row, L-R:

Rita Micklus (Musical Theatre)
Rita’s brought her considerable talent to the roles of Josephine Strong in Urinetown, Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods, and Dee Dee Allen in The Prom.

Nicole Bilodeau (Theatre)
Nicole is double majoring in Media Studies and Theatre and will officially wrap up her studies in December 2024. Her stage performances include Evil Tina/Head Puppeteer in She Kills Monsters and Announcer Two in The War of the Worlds. She served as our marketing intern this year, creating videos and social media content for the department.

Gabby Martin (Theatre)
Gabby focused primarily on costume design during her studies, assistant designing for Eurydice Rising, Into the Woods, and Clue. She was the costume co-designer for The Prom and her designs were featured throughout the show.

Ben Clouse (Musical Theatre)
Ben brought great performances to Russell Hall as Barry Glickman in The Prom and as Caldwell B. Cladwell in Urinetown. He also worked in our box office helping patrons, doing research for lobby displays, and assisting with marketing.

Kallie Brown (Musical Theatre)
Kallie brought her energy and humor to many shows in recent years: Becky/Napkin in Dear Edwina, Little Becky Two Shoes in Urinetown, Witch in Into the Woods, and Angie Dickinson in The Prom.

Bryan Spaulding (Theatre)
Bryan delighted audiences as Queen Something in The Marvelous Meep Island Adventure and honed his talent for drag performance. He regularly graces stages, parades, and performance venues around Maine as Letta the Queen.
