January 25 – February 15, 2024

We’re gearing up for our next exhibition: (t)here but not: The 2024 University of Southern Maine Art Department Exhibition.

This biannual show features creative talent across our department from staff and faculty alike. (t)here but not sees artwork that interrogates the gap between memory and reality, as well as what it means to make what’s in the mind’s eye tangible. The works in the show look at the delineation between imagination and our current moment.

It is an excellent opportunity to see what is being produced by the professionals at the University and to exchange ideas on creative influences across our communities.

Join us on February 15 in the Gallery for the first Third Thursday yoga session of the season, an opportunity to experience our Art Department Exhibition in a relaxing, meditative way. Learn more.
