The Osher Map Library and Smith Center for Cartographic Education was featured in the Portland Press Herald on Sunday, November 1, 2020.
The article features the Map Library’s involvement in the Digital Project, “Mapping a World of Cities.” This digital project is an online collaboration which features pieces from 10 of the top map libraries in the country. Some of the institutions involved include the Levanthal Map and Education Center at the Boston Public Library, the MacLean Collection Map Library, the David Rumsey Map Center at the Stanford Libraries, and the Library of Congress.
