Join us for a new series intended for 1st and 2nd year teachers, any content area or grade level. Participating novice teachers will:

  • discuss the challenges and successes of their first years in the classroom with peers and experienced teachers
  • explore and apply strategies to improve teaching effectiveness and encourage teacher wellness
  • build a professional community that will be a source of support beyond the series

Session themes will include educator wellness, building classroom community, and more, based on participant needs. We will be joined each month by expert guest facilitators who will provide tips and tricks aligned with the session themes. The series is interactive and participant-driven, with space provided to share challenges, muddles, and successes from your own classroom experience. Registration is for the entire 8-part series, and attendance at all sessions is encouraged, but not required for participation. Attendees will receive contact hours for their participation based on attendance.
