No. Veterans that participate with Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) can attend any program of their choosing. VUB does not have a requirement that participants enroll at any specific school.

No. All veterans have different educational goals. VUB is here to support veterans that choose to enroll in any educational program beyond high school.

VUB works with veterans to understand what possible funding sources are available. Veterans can learn about VA Educational Benefits, non-VA-related funding, and other ways to pay for school. However, VUB does not pay tuition for veterans.

Veterans Upward Bound is an organization that is funded by the federal government to assist veterans in their educational pursuits. While we cannot enroll family members in VUB, if you have questions about resources for family members of veterans, give us a call! We are happy to help you find the right resource for veteran family members.

TRIO is a collection of grant-funded programs that was started in 1964. TRIO programs assist first-generation college students. There are many TRIO organizations in Maine. VUB Maine is a TRIO organization that specifically supports veterans.
