How the pathway works

During your final year of undergraduate study, you’ll begin taking graduate-level Statistics courses — if you meet the prerequisites. The graduate-level courses will satisfy credit requirements for your undergraduate major as well as the first year of the Statistics graduate program.

To enroll in this pathway, you’ll select one of the majors below.

Program requirements

To satisfy credit requirements for both your undergraduate major and your future Statistics master’s degree program, you’ll be required to earn a grade of C or higher in specific courses and to maintain a GPA of at least 2.75.

Automatic admission to graduate school

If you meet undergraduate progress standards, the graduate application and requirements will be waived and you will be automatically admitted to the Statistics MS program.

About our Statistics MS program

Develop a broad knowledge of the concepts and practice of statistics and related fields. You can choose to concentrate in Applied Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or Operations Research and Applied Mathematics.
