Experiential learning

Gain firsthand experience through accounting internships at one of our 200 partner organizations. The internship is a cooperative, supervised work experience that involves the student, employer, and a School of Business faculty sponsor.

Obtaining CPA licensure

When you pair the Accounting major with the Advanced Accounting minor you’ll meet the requirements to sit for the CPA exam and obtain CPA licensure in Maine and most states.
